This is a skilled position.  An employee in this class performs various skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings, and equipment.  Work involves primary responsibility for proficiency in several trades, with working conditions and the degree of supervision exercised differing according to the location and nature of assignments.  The employee exercises technical independence in determining work methods and procedures and receives assignments orally or through written instructions, which may be accompanied by sketches or diagrams.  Review of work is received from technical or administrative superiors through inspections and discussions.

 Jagemann Plating General Laborer
 

Performs all duties, which are related and pertain to the processing of material, objects, or articles to be cleaned, plated or dried both before and after the processing of material, objects or articles.
This includes the movement of materials, supplies and equipment, such as racks, trays, baskets, barrels, and other types of containers to and from production work areas.
​It also includes the loading and unloading of containers holding work to be processed, storing and transporting racks and fixtures to working areas and repair department, supplying process workers with materials and objects to be processed and other similar duties necessary to facilitate the production process.

Performs all other similar or related duties as necessary.
